Just Six Days to Go!
We’re in the homestretch with just six days to go until Election Day! This is a critically important moment in the campaign and we need your help.
If you vote absentee, the first and most important thing you can do is make sure you return your ballot right away. Remember, ballots must be received by the Registrar of Voters by Tuesday, June 3. If it arrives after that, it won’t be counted. So, put your ballot in the mail TODAY or drop it off at the 24-hour drop box at the Registrar’s Office to make sure your voice is heard.
If you don’t vote absentee, you can still vote early. Click here for a list of early voting locations and times.
We also need your help on the doors and on the phones. We’re doing a big Get Out The Vote push this weekend – please sign up today for a shift and help us get those votes in! A two-hour phone shift can help us reach out to 100 voters. A three-hour walk shift can help us personally connect with 75 households. Your involvement makes a difference, so sign up today!
Our message has been resonating throughout San José because people believe that having a smarter government will mean a safer city. But that’s just the first step – we need to get folks to the polls. So cast your ballot today and then come down to the office this weekend. With your help, we’ll have a great primary night!
We are hosting our election night celebration at the Blackbird Tavern on 200 S. First Street from 5 –10 p.m. I hope you will join us as we watch election returns and celebrate. You can RSVP here.
